I was the doula when H was born, and I've had such a special relationship with her and her parents ever since. It amazes me how she has the same spirit now that she had when she was one hour old! Very soon, I'll be at the hospital when H becomes a big sister. It was really lovely to spend the evening with them as a family of three before everything changes! I feel so lucky to be a part of this family's growth.
It was such a joy to spend a sunlit hour with M in the last week of her pregnancy with baby W. She was so proud of and curious about her pregnant body, and so ready to meet her daughter. As a doula and as a photographer, it was lovely to see her happiness through my lens, and to talk with her during that special time of waiting.
We caught the last burst of cherry blossoms for these sweeties, but they mostly just wanted to stare at each other. Each of them is so sweet and sincere, and they were thrilled to become parents together. What a lucky little guy is E!
This saucy little dude was so excited to show me around his house on a warm Fall evening-- he is constantly on the go! His parents, who were expecting twins, were soaking up every last moment that they could with him as an only child. It was so sweet to capture these images of them as a family of three.
